Brockdish: St Peter & St Paul, Brockdish

Standing on high ground above the Waveney Valley, there has been a Church on the site of St Peter and St Paul since before Doomsday. The main structure of the Church is mediaeval, dating from 14th century, although there are traces of the earlier building - late Saxon and early Norman. The interior was restored in the 1840s and is regarded, then and now, as a fine example of a gothic Victorian interior.
We have a service each Sunday with the exception of the fifth Sunday which is a 'rotating' benefice service.
The Revd Trevor Riess, Priest in Charge of the Benefice, conducts most services, with lay readers from the Benefice and visiting clergy taking the other services.
Trevor Riess is 'at home' at the Rectory at Scole from 6.15 to 7.15 pm each Tuesday for enquiries about baptisms, thanksgivings, marriages etc. He may be also be contacted on 01379 742762.
The Church is open at weekends; the key can also be obtained from The Old Rectory next to the Church (01379 668875).
